The Process
How We Work
How Sovereign Private Wealth Works
We start by mapping what you have — entities, tax exposure, capital position. Then we build the architecture. Then we govern it. Each stage builds on the last, so liquidity, tax, and investment decisions stop operating in silos.
I
Design
Architect the financial system around the family, business, and capital.
II
Build
Implement structures, strategies, and investments with discipline.
III
Refine
Govern, adapt and rebalance as life, markets, and opportunity change.
Capabilities
Full Integration
Every dimension of your financial life, coordinated under one system.
Proactive Tax Engineering
Proactive structure design, entity selection, deduction strategy, and coordination with your CPA. Engineered before the year, not filed after.
Entity Design & Legal Structure
LLCs, trusts, holding companies, and S-corps designed around how your capital actually flows — protection, flexibility, and succession built in.
Strategic Capital & Liquidity
Reserve strategy, deployment timing, recapitalization, balance sheet optimization, and strategic finance support. Your capital working with intention at every stage.
Dual Mandate Portfolio
Dual Mandate construction across private markets, real estate, private credit, and select alternatives. Built around alignment, not product economics.
Legal & Estate Coordination
We coordinate directly with your estate attorney so tax strategy, entity structure, and succession planning speak the same language.
Integrated Governance System
A living document and reporting system that integrates every dimension of your financial life into one architecture — entities, tax strategy, capital, and investments. Always current.
The Sovereign Difference
What used to require $100M in assets to access, we make available to families actively building.
Positioning
Our Difference
Family office depth. Without the $100M floor.
Tax & Wealth Architecture
Proactive tax engineering, entity coordination, and estate alignment — structured before the event, not filed after. We design the system your CPA then executes.
Capital & Investment Strategy
Disciplined portfolio construction across private markets, real assets, and alternatives. Institutional frameworks applied to your wealth — not products pushed for commission.
Governance & Coordination
A single point of accountability across every advisor, decision, and financial dimension. We quarterback your CPA, attorney, and advisors so nothing falls through the gaps.
For Families
Who We Serve
Families where the financial life has outgrown the infrastructure around it.
The common thread isn't a number. It's the gap between what's been built and what's actually been organized. Entities that were set up years ago and never revisited. Advisors who are each doing their job well, in isolation. A tax picture that keeps shifting because no one is upstream of it.
Some of these families are still deep in the build — running companies, deploying capital, making decisions that compound. Others have already transitioned and are focused on what comes next: governance, legacy, a structure that holds without constant attention. The complexity looks different. The need for coordination doesn't.
Sovereign exists for the moment a family decides that managing the managers isn't enough — and that the whole system deserves someone whose only job is to make it work.
Private Client Division
For families managing $20M+ in net worth.
At this tier, Sovereign functions as a family's private office — coordinating every advisor, governing every entity, and applying the same institutional discipline that the most sophisticated family offices in the world are built around.
The division is kept intentionally selective — so every family has a partner who knows their full picture, not just the piece in front of them, and who stays with them through every stage of what comes next.
Private Client DivisionWhat clients experience
- I
One relationship that holds everything — entities, advisors, capital, and continuity — without anything falling through the gaps
- II
Tax strategy built into the architecture of the year, not reconstructed at the end of it
- III
Access to institutional-grade investment structures, co-investment opportunities, and private markets typically closed to all but the largest family offices
- IV
A wealth system documented, stress-tested, and governed well enough to outlast any advisor, any market, or any transition the family faces
Common Questions
Answered plainly.
Are you a fund or an RIA?+
No. We don't raise outside capital as a fund, and we don't manage client money as a registered investment adviser. Sovereign is a private capital partner: we design systems, embed as operators, and in some cases selectively co-invest alongside families. That distinction matters — it means our focus is alignment and architecture, not pushing products or charging AUM fees.
Do you replace my CPA or attorney?+
No. We lead strategy and integration. Your CPA and attorney remain responsible for filings, compliance, and legal work — but instead of you being the "monkey in the middle," we coordinate directly with them. Our role is to quarterback the system so tax, legal, and capital are working from one playbook.
What happens in the first 90 days?+
The engagement begins with a structured discovery session — we map your entities, tax posture, capital strategy, and investment philosophy. From there, you'll have initial structure maps, tax scenarios, and a coordinated plan. Within the first quarter, we move from design to implementation and establish your reporting rhythm.
How does Sovereign report on your full financial picture?+
We use a living document and reporting system that integrates entities, tax strategies, capital management, and investments into one architecture — dynamic, forward-looking, and always current as your life and business evolve.
How do you align incentives?+
We don't bill based on products sold or percentage of assets under management. Our economics are: a base retainer for access, cadence, and deliverables; outcome-based components tied to defined events (capital formation, liquidity, exits, tax wins); and in some cases, participation rights (equity, warrants, co-invest) where aligned and compliant. This structure ensures we're incentivized to protect, grow, and optimize your wealth — not to sell or churn.
What do engagements cost?+
Engagements start at $10k/year + $1,500/mo. Scope and structure scale with complexity. We're transparent about fees from the first conversation.
How many families do you take on each year?+
We're intentionally limited. Across all tiers, capacity is capped so every family gets depth of attention. For Private Client Division, we only engage a handful at a time — enough to go deep without diluting stewardship.
What kinds of investments do you touch?+
We help families build portfolios across private businesses, real estate, private credit, and select alternative strategies. We also structure liquidity reserves and defensive capital. Public equities are rarely included, but if so, are always part of a broader allocation policy. We do not sell financial products.
What makes your approach different from a family office, PC, or RIA?+
We are a fractional family office. That means the integration, governance, and forward-looking strategy of a dedicated private wealth office — without the $100M threshold that historically required one. Unlike an RIA, we don't manage money for AUM fees or sell products. Unlike a traditional family office, you don't need to build a dedicated staff. Unlike private equity, we're not here to exit assets — we apply that same operational discipline to your wealth system, permanently.
What's the first step if I'm interested?+
Schedule a fit call. We'll get a sense of your current setup, goals, and constraints. If there's a fit, we'll begin with a design session. If not, we'll point you in the right direction.
